The Tavares Police Department is committed to doing the right things for the right reasons. Our customer, the public we serve, will always be treated ethically. Equal rights are assured for everyone we come in contact with for any reason. We take pride in working collectively to resolve the problems of citizens. The department will constantly seek innovative methods to reach out and become a part of the community rather than being apart from it. Police officers will aggressively pursue awareness of the community needs and the perception of the police department by the citizens.
