| Erlanger Police Department The Erlanger Police Department exists to serve the community. We do this by protecting life and property, by preventing crime, by enforcing the laws, and by maintaining order for all citizens. We consider service to our community to be our primary responsibility. We understand that we are one of the few agencies of government that never closes and, therefore, may be called upon to perform many different tasks for the community. If we are able to provide a requested service, we will recommend an appropriate action or agency. We will always strive to professionally and enthusiastically respond to the community's needs. Our values are characteristics and qualities of worth. They are non-negotiable. We hold our values constantly before us to teach and remind us and the community of our ideals.
