Use of other libraries

Your faculty ID card provides access and borrowing privileges at the libraries in the City University system.

The metropolitan area contains a wealth of libraries. Details about other academic libraries and public library systems are available here.

You may arrange for access to other university libraries for the use of particular items not owned by the CUNY libraries. Talk to a librarian at the 2nd floor Reference Desk.

The Worldcat database can be very useful to determine locations for resources that are not in the CUNY system. Worldcat will allow you to link directly to the catalogs for many other research libraries. You may search this database from off-campus as well.
