Bureau of Justice Statistics
The BJS publishes most of its reports on its WWW pages as well as in print. Statistics are maintained in the areas of law enforcement, prosecution, courts and sentencing, corrections (including capital punishment), and expenditure and employment.
 
Code of Federal Regulations
This database is sponsored by the Office of the Federal Register, National Archives and Records Administration. The CFR is divided into 50 titles, each further divided into chapters usually bearing the name of a federal agency. Search or browse one or more CFR titles for current and historical data.
 
Federal Judicial Center
The mission of this government agency is to promote improvement in the judicial administration of the United States federal court system. The Center's site offers publications on court operations and procedures, court history, and educational materials. A database of Judges of the United States Courts provides biographical information on judges who have served on the U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Courts of Appeals, the Supreme Court and other life-tenured courts since 1789.

History of the Supreme Court
A companion website to the 2007 PBS series, The History of the Supreme Court site includes essays and teaching materials on gender equality, social rights, personal liberties, and equal access to schools. Oyez Project: U.S. Supreme Court Multimedia
The OYEZ Project provides access to more than 2000 hours of Supreme Court audio since 1995 and selective pieces before 1995. Features include On This Day, a calendar of events, U.S. Supreme Court Justices, a listing of all Supreme Court justices, an Oyez Directory to cases sorted by subject and a Supreme Court Virtual Tour.

It includes official and unofficial Supreme Court sites; sources for both recent and historic decisions, briefs, and oral arguments; links to information about the Justices, commentary on the Supreme Court, Supreme Court rules, history, etc.; as well as the best sources for first amendment law, criminal law, and others. Annotations describe how best to use each resource.
