Sign to be a website tester

Our goal is to find out how we can best serve students who use assistive technology. Will you help?

Volunteer as a website tester, and you’ll receive a $10 voucher redeemable at MBJ Cafeteria in the New Building. You’ll also help the library provide better service to you and your fellow students.

All sessions are 15- to 30 minutes long and will take place during Community Hour.
What’s involved? Website designers regularly test websites in usability studies to make sure that the site is functioning properly and that users can navigate the interface easily. In this study, a friendly moderator will ask you to try a few tasks on the library website and will ask for your feedback. The study will take place upstairs in the library. Please note: we are studying how well our website works, with your help and feedback; we are not studying you or how much you know about the library. All personal information will be anonymized. This evening we'll be having our first walk-in clinic for graduate students. Come to the library classroom between 5-6pm for help getting started on that literature review.
