Using the internet in the library
All 100+ library computers are connected to the internet, with the exception of those in the Reference Area that are reserved for searching CUNY+ and library databases.
Connecting to WiFi
Members of the John Jay community and guests can use their personal laptop computers and other WiFi-enabled devices to access the Internet throughout the Library. If your device is not WiFi-enabled, ask the Reference Desk for an ethernet cable for "plug in" access to the Internet.
If you are a student, connect to the 'John Jay Student' SSID and enter your login information when prompted (login is the same as for John Jay email). If you are a faculty/staff member, use the 'John Jay Faculty and Staff' SSID and enter your login information when prompted. Detailed instructions:

Guest WiFi access
Join the 'John Jay Guest' SSID and ask at the Reference Desk for login information.
