Where can I print?
Printers are available in the Reference Area on the upper level and the Reserve Room on the lower level. Additional printers that require a copy card are available in the Reference Area for library users that do not have a John Jay email account.
How do I print?

Each current student is given a $15 credit at the beginning of the semester to use for printing. Check your balance at jayprint.jjay.cuny.edu.
- Black/white: 5 cents per page single-sided, and 7 cents per page double-sided
- Color: 25 cents per page

Request printing refunds at jayprint.jjay.cuny.edu. You'll have to log in with your John Jay username and password.
Three scanners are located in the Reserve Room downstairs, and four scanners are located upstairs near the Law Reference section (south wing). Email the resulting files, save them to your USB drive, or print them.
Make your scanned PDFs full-text searchable (using OCR) at the Accessibility computer, located near the scanners upstairs. Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat and select "Recognize Text » In this file."

Students may only use the scanner for limited periods of time when the Library is busy.
The Library has three photocopiers available in the back of Reserve Room downstairs and three more photocopiers on the second floor. Photocopying costs 15 cents per page single-sided, and 30 cents per page double-sided. Copiers accept coins only.
